The подвійне form of a term usually refers to a pair of items.

Nouns change their form according to their number, either однина, подвійне, or множина. The подвійне ending does not only mean «two» but usually refers to a pair of something, such as עֵינַ֥יִם (two eyes) or אָזְנַ֣יִם (two ears).

Примітка

Dual nouns always take adjectives with a множина ending, not a подвійне ending.

Форма

Both чоловічий and жіночий terms take the same подвійне ending, ־ַיִם (pathah-yod-hireq-final mem).
